Grand Opening of Stone Grove Crossing

KCW celebrates the completion of phase one for Wicomico County Housing Development.

Stone Grove Crossing

Welcome to Stone Grove Crossing

A 10-year investment from the Wicomico County Housing Authority, patience from the surrounding community, funds from both the private and public sectors and hard work from the development team led to the grand opening of Stone Grove Crossing on January 31, 2017.

Previously known as Booth Street Apartments, this redeveloped housing community is a proud moment for Pennrose Properties LLC. & the local community.

The 84-unit, 5.38 acre residential development will offer housing to both previous Booth Street residents and new occupants. Stone Grove Crossing restores hope for local families to have a better quality of life with affordable living. In the photo below you can see the previous units alongside the new units.

KCW is honored to be a part of a community-focused project by providing civil engineering services, land surveying and construction stakeout.

The grand opening was a heartfelt ceremony not only to celebrate the project’s key players, but to celebrate the accomplishment for the community’s future. Three members of the Wicomico County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners stood proud at the event, staring at what they had waited and worked a decade for.  KCW worked closely with a few admirable members of the development team including, Harkins Builders, Inc., the general contractor, as well as Architecture by Design, the architect and Pennrose Properties LLC., the lead developer.

Congratulations to all those involved in making this inspirational project come to life. KCW is eager to see what phase two brings.
